Water white to light yellow liquid. Aromas of daffodils, grass leaves and melon. The boiling point is 222°C, and the flash point is 69°C. Lml is soluble in 1.5mL 70% ethanol, soluble in most fixed oils and mineral oils, insoluble in glycerin, slightly soluble in propylene glycol.

●  GB 2760--1996 stipulates that it is allowed to use edible spices. It is mainly used to prepare flavors of melons, almonds, cherries, peaches and plums.

●  It is formed by condensation of acetophenone and ethyl chloroacetate under alkaline conditions. It is obtained by distilling methyl phenyl glycol under normal pressure.
