Use

●  GB2760-96 stipulates that the edible spices are allowed to be used. Mainly used for the preparation of flavors such as cheese, Chemicalbook coconut, cognac and nuts. Also a good fixative.

●  solvent. It is also used as an intermediate for flavors, fragrances, spandex additives and pharmaceutical raw materials.

Production method

It is formed by esterification of dodecanoyl chloride and ethanol with magnesium as catalyst in ether solution.
