Colorless needle crystal. Melting point 131°C, easily soluble in water and hot ethanol, insoluble in ether.

●  Used as a formaldehyde capture agent to remove formaldehyde remaining in fabrics after finishing with 2D-resin, KB resin, urea-formaldehyde resin, melamine-formaldehyde resin, etc. The product is also used as an intermediate of fine chemicals for the manufacture of resins, plasticizers, spray paints, adhesives, etc.

●  Used as a formaldehyde capture agent, an intermediate of fine chemicals, and also used to make resins and prepare plasticizers, spray paints, adhesives, etc.

●  For the synthesis of chiral microporous materials from achiral precursors; for the preparation of aryl and heteroaryl N-acylureas by microwave-assisted palladium-catalyzed carbonylation; for the synthesis of a human neutrophil-based Highly water-soluble peptides of elastase inhibitors; formed by cyanoacetylation reactions for the synthesis of antibacterial heterocycles; used for Pd-catalyzed reactions with heteroaromatic tosylate to form C-N bonds; used for the activation of alkenes oxidative amidation reaction

●  It is derived from the reaction of ethylenediamine and carbon dioxide under hot pressure. It can also be obtained by condensing and closing ethylenediamine, urea and water.
