Sodium Cyclamate Applications
Sweeteners used in food processing, and additives in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and animal feed.
This product is approximately 30 times sweeter than sucrose. Even at a dilution of 1:10000 (sucrose 1:140, saccharin 1:50000), it still retains a noticeable sweetness. It is used as a non-nutritive sweetener in various applications. The concentration used should not exceed 0.4% to mitigate any bitterness. According to Chinese standard GB2760-86, it can be used in soft drinks, ice cream, pastries, and preserved fruits. Furthermore, according to the supplementary provisions of GB2760-89, it can also be used as an additive in pickles, sauces, blended wines, pastries, biscuits, and colorings.
